The University of Cambridge, Lancaster University and University of York were among the top universities who attended CATS College annual university fair at St Lawrence Cricket Ground in Canterbury on October 13th.

An exclusive event for CATS College students, the fair provides an excellent opportunity for students to talk directly to university admissions teams about their degree programmes, locations and specific entry criteria.

The strength of CATS College university links and the higher education support available places CATS College students in the strongest position when applying through our higher education teams to university.

Year on year many of our students achieve places at Times Top 30 destinations, students applying via our higher education teams benefit from:

  • Access to the best universities, The University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford make regular visits to the College
  • Assistance with their UCAS applications
  • Personal statement reviews
  • Mock interviews practice
  • Guidance on the best degree programme at the best university to suit their needs.

“The quality of students at the fair was at a high standard. What was also impressive was the students were very focused and already had considerable knowledge about the departments they are interested in pursuing further studies in. The University of York has a very successful relationship with CATS College and their students. This is something we hope to continue in the future."

"I was impressed with the quality of the students, both in terms of the focus on their studies and in terms of the fact that they seemed confident of achieving our entry requirements. We very much hope to be welcoming some students to Newcastle University from CATS College in 2012 and wish them all the best with their studies this year."

"Students from CATS College are well prepared for university study and the Higher Education Fair held here is a great opportunity for them to find a course and institution that matches their aspirations; we would always welcome an application from a CATS College student"

"I am delighted to be able to welcome over 50 top UK universities to CATS College specifically to visit and meet with our students. It establishes CATS College strongly as a powerful destination of choice for overseas students who want a high quality entry route to universities throughout the UK." - Jonathan Ullmer, Principal of CATS College Canterbury
