The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William officially presented Jonathan Ullmer, Principal of CATS College Canterbury with one of the Uk's highest awards - a Member of the British Empire (MBE) at Buckingham Palace this month.

Jonathan Ullmer, Principal of CATS College Canterbury, was recently at Buckingham Palace for the official 'Investiture' as Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire - MBE - for Services to Education.

Mr Jonathan Ullmer was presented with the award from Prince William, Duke of Cambridge - a fitting connection for Cambridge Education Group.

"It was a very moving day and amazing to meet other people being honoured as well as being in The Palace surrounded by Yeoman of the Guard and soldiers snapping to attention with swords! The award really does reflect some amazing young people and staff I have been very honoured to work with over 25 years and the work I have been fortunate to do across all the CATS Colleges in my time with Cambridge Education Group. So very many thanks to everyone and particularly the staff and students in Canterbury whose work is now reflected in a wide range of national awards which really does pay tribute to everyone.'

says Jonathan Ullmer MBE, Principal, CATS College Canterbury.
