Studying in Ireland offers a globally recognized education, with strong work opportunities, vibrant culture, and a welcoming, English-speaking environment. The PIE Live Ireland 2025 was a one-day international education conference, hosted by University College Dublin on October 14th. It was the inaugural PIE Live event in Ireland, bringing together professionals from the global education community. Cambridge Education Group (CEG) sponsored the Social Wall at the event, and representatives attended the event to promote Ireland as a destination for study and OnCampus Ireland as a route to Irish university programmes.

Highlights From PIE Live study in Ireland 2025

The PIE Live study in Ireland 2025 featured keynote speeches and panel discussions on the Irish education sector. Ireland’s ambitions as an international study destination, and the growing demand to study in Ireland from students around the world. The event and expo also offered networking opportunities for attendees, including educators, education agents, and leaders within the international education industry.

Representatives from many OnCampus Ireland partners spoke at the event, including Maynooth University, University College Cork, the University of Galway, South East Technological University, Technological University of the Shannon, Independent College and Munster Technological University.

CEG was the sponsor and exhibitor of the Social Wall at the expo within the event, with members of the OnCampus Ireland team attending and representing CEG’s commitment to global learning through education pathways and partnerships with a wide range of world-class Irish education institutions.

OnCampus Ireland CEO Brian McDonald spoke on the ‘Why Ireland?’ panel alongside other stakeholders and partners. They discussed themes of culture, safety, and employability as reasons behind the rising global demand to study in Ireland and the growing opportunities in the Irish education sector.
