Cambridge Education Group (CEG) has maintained its Student Sponsor – Track Record status, receiving a green rating from UK Visas and Immigration under the new Basic Compliance Assessment (BCA) metrics after meeting all core sponsor requirements.

The confirmation provides further assurance to university partners, students, parents and agents that CEG recruits, admits and supports international students responsibly. It follows another year of excellent pass rates and student outcomes across Pathway, Services and Digital provision.

CEG handles approximately 50,000–60,000 applications each year and continues to perform strongly against UKVI’s Basic Compliance Assessment measures. Across the Group, around 11,000 students from more than 100 nationalities are recruited annually, with 95% student satisfaction and strong recent pass and progression rates across multiple forms of provision.

David Johnston, CEO, said: “Maintaining our Student Sponsor status with a green rating reflects the strength of our recruitment, admissions, compliance, academic and student support teams. For university partners, it provides confidence that growth is being delivered responsibly, with the systems and safeguards needed to protect quality and reputation. For students and families, our combination of strong visa compliance, excellent academic outcomes and 95% student satisfaction gives them every reason to put their faith in CEG when choosing their route to higher education.”

Through the Pathway, Services and Digital divisions, CEG works with more than 50 university partners worldwide, helping institutions extend their reach, diversify recruitment and deliver high-quality education in the UK and internationally
