Cambridge Education Group (CEG) is proud to be an early adopter of the UK Agent Quality Framework. We fully support this initiative and are committed to raising standards across the international education sector.
We believe that students deserve high-quality, ethical, and informed support when choosing to study in the UK. We are also committed to delivering exceptional programmes that help lead our students to good degree outcomes and progress on to their chosen careers. That’s why we have pledged our commitment to the agent quality framework and embedded its principles throughout our agent management and student engagement practices.
Why We Support the Agent Quality Framework
- CEG has a strong track record of compliance and performs rigorous annual agent performance reviews delivers agent management processes to the highest. CEG have remained within the metrics under BCA (and previously HTS) since we have had our licences from 2009/2010.
- We are committed to the highest levels of professionalism and ethical practice in all our agent partnerships.
- We proactively promote transparency, accountability, and informed student decision-making.
- We contractually require our agents to follow the British Council Code of Conduct for Educational Agents, known as the London Statement.
Our Key Actions
Empowering Student Choice
- We promote the Student Guide to Choosing an Education Agent to all prospective international students.
- We request agent counsellors complete British Council UK Agent and Counsellor Certified Training.
Ensuring Good Governance
- We build the National Code of Ethical Practice into all agent contracts (See below).
- Our agent cycle includes rigorous selection, due diligence, contracting, training, close cooperation and ongoing reviews.
- We collaborate closely with agents to ensure information flows both ways and standards are upheld.
Promoting Transparency & Accountability
