Cambridge Education Group’s Chief Academic Officer invited to speak at United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development

Cambridge Education Group is proud to announce our participation in the upcoming conference, “How to Accelerate the Pace of the Agenda 2030 Implementation at Half-way to Its Finishing Line,” organised by the World Association for Sustainable Development (WASD). The event will take place 22-25 July at the United Nations in Geneva, bringing together global leaders, industry experts, and policymakers to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We are especially honoured that our Chief Academic Officer – CEG Digital, Manuel Frutos-Perez, will be leading the conference theme of “Higher Education: new models and frameworks for the future”, delivering an address titled “New Leadership Model for Higher Education: SDGs and the Civic University in the Digital Era.” The presentation will focus on the evolving role of higher education institutions in promoting SDGs, with an emphasis on civic responsibility and digital transformation.

The conference offers a unique platform for professionals, educators, and sustainability advocates to collaborate, exchange knowledge, and drive significant progress towards the 2030 Agenda, exploring innovative strategies and transformative approaches to accelerate the pace of SDGs implementation and build a more sustainable future for all.
